Affiliate Disclosure
Horripilations may earn a commission when you make a purchase through certain links on this website. This page explains how those links work and how they relate to our content.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link allows a retailer or affiliate network to recognise that you reached its website through Horripilations. If you make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission, at no additional cost to you.
Following an affiliate link does not oblige you to buy anything.
Where you may find affiliate links
Affiliate links may appear in product listings, recommendations and other relevant pages. Where a page contains affiliate links, we aim to make that clear alongside the content or purchase buttons.
Not every link on Horripilations is an affiliate link.
Our content and ratings
Our stories, Monster Files and film guides are created for readers interested in horror. The availability of an affiliate programme does not determine a film’s Horripilations rating or guarantee a positive assessment.
A link to a product, film or book does not mean that we have personally purchased, used or tested it. Where content describes a first-hand experience, we will make that clear.
Any paid sponsorship or promotional arrangement that influences a piece of content will be identified separately. An affiliate link alone does not mean that the retailer commissioned or approved the article.
Purchases from external retailers
Purchases made after following an affiliate link are completed with the external retailer, rather than Horripilations.
The retailer is responsible for payment processing, order fulfilment, delivery, returns, refunds and customer service. Prices, availability and offers can change, so please check the retailer’s product information and terms before purchasing.
Affiliate tracking and privacy
Retailers and affiliate networks may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute qualifying purchases. Their handling of your information is explained in their own privacy and cookie policies.
Please also see our Privacy Policy for information about how Horripilations handles personal information.
